Welcome to Elgin ISD 2016 Summer PD Institute! Please browse our PD offerings. You can register for a session by clicking the session title and adding it to your schedule. You can view your schedule on your mobile phone or have it emailed to you. Once you attend a session, your registration and CPE hours will be entered onto Eduphoria. Session times are as follows: AM: 8:30 am - 11:30 am PM: 12:30pm - 3:30pm All Day: 8:30am - 3:30 pm All sessions on Monday, July 25 - Monday, August 1 & August 3 will be held at Elgin High School. All sessions on Tuesday, August 2 will be held at Elgin Middle School. District Initiative Sessions are designated in areas of academic need for EISD. Teachers in the applicable subjects/corresponding grade levels will receive a stipend for attending these sessions ($25 for half day; $50 for all day)
A one-day training to become re-certified in Satori Alternatives to Managing Aggression. Participants will review and practice the skills for dealing with students in crisis. To be re-certified in SAMA, participants will be required to complete a performance based assessment.
